Stitches!!!

So last Friday we had our first round of kiddie stitches. In almost 7 years that's pretty good. We were just getting the car loaded after grocery shopping at Macey's when Analei calmly said, "Mom, Aneti's head is bleeding." So I am thinking she must have scratched it or something because I couldn't hear Aneti crying or anything. But when I looked into the car, I see that Aneti has blood streaming down her face and all over her clothes and seat belt. Did I panic? Well, I came pretty dang close. Somehow Aneti hit her head on the corner of the car door when she was getting in and put a nice hole in the side of her head. She didn't panic until I looked at it and told her she needed stitches. She nearly freaked out at the doctor's office while they were numbing it up, but as soon as the stitches were in she asked if she could look at them. I just wanted to throw up, it was gross. But I am doing just fine now, so thanks for asking. ;) Here are a couple of pictures:

Fun activities

The girls and I have done a few fun activities this month. We went to the candy factory with auntie Jess and horseriding at grandpas:

Analei's Birthday

Analei wanted her family party at grandma's house. She chose fried chicken legs, mashed potatoes, and peas for her birthday dinner. She picked an icecream cake for her birthday cake. Auntie Jess did an excellent job making the cake. She got some fun stuff for her birthday.

Apparently something got a hold of my camera on that last picture...

Since Analei turned 5 this year she got to have a friend birthday party. She decided that instead of a cake she wanted cupcakes. At her party they went on a treasure hunt (the kids got to color their own treasure maps) outside. It was a great success. They also decorated their own cupcakes and of course there were presents.
